Ruffled Skirts - Sewing Project #2 and My New Obsession January 20, 2008

Filed under: Things to Make — admin @ 12:19 pm

These were so, so, so fun to make. I made Ayla’s first (on the right) and it took me about 4 hours! But, Shay’s took less than half the time to do because I knew (slightly more) what I was doing. I found the awesome tutorial for these adorable ruffled skirts on the Grand Revival blog. (Also, Shay is sporting her brand-new, first-ever haircut!)

Shays hair is adorable - really, really, really adorable!! I think you should cut Ayla’s like that too… : )

My oldest daughter is totally freaking out right now, because I told her about your daughters (and the name coincidences) and we were scrolling down to read more and she pointed out that OUR littles have those VERY SAME pink boots.
The skirts are adorable and my girls unfortunately will never have THOSE because I do not know how to sew, although having four girls I OFTEN wished I did- hello SUNDRESSES and PARTY DRESSES!!!
