Eye-Pod a.k.a. iPod August 4, 2009

Looking at Shay today, I noticed her eye seemed a little red underneath. I asked, 'Shay, what happened to your eye? Did you poke it?'

Ayla ran over to inspect - of course. She seemed to have the answer and quickly said, 'Shay, I think it's a pod. An eye-pod.' Needless to say, I was laughing hysterically while Ayla was asking me over and over, 'What, Mom? What is an eye-pod anyway?'

I explained that an iPod is a little gadget that has headphones and plays music, which neither her Mommy or Daddy have ever had the desire to purchase. I can just see my kids being more 'with it' than us in the next ten years, while we turn into the technilogically impared old folks I now see my parents as.
